SAUDI PLASTIC FACTORY is committed to the protection of environment locally or globally and recognizes the importance of incorporating environmental issues in to every day business decisions and activities.

The company based on the evaluation of significant aspects conducted initially is aware of the potential risks, which may arise from its manufacturing activities; the most severe one being the fire.

The company's environmental policy stipulates the following:

• Conduct the factory operations within the framework of ISO 14001 EMS implemented in the company.

• Develop processes and operating conditions that promote environmental protection and reduce the associated environmental impacts.

• Reduce the generation of waste to techno-economically feasible minimum levels.

• Strive for continuous improvements in environmental performance of the company.

• Comply with applicable environmental legislation enforced by the local authority and industry codes or practices.

• Provide training and education to all employees to work in manner, which maximizes the environmental protection, and to understand the implication of environmental policy and EMS.

• Respond positively to the concerns of all interested parties including neighbors, local communities and law enforcing authorities.

The company will ensure that the environmental policy is understood by all employees and made available to the public at all times.  The top management supports this policy and ensures that it is implemented at all levels.  The environmental policy will be reviewed at regular intervals.
